This summer at the Roundhouse, Studio Moross and Travis Alabanza have collaborated to create a bespoke artistic takeover of the space.

Throughout the building you’ll find phrases and quips penned with Alabanaza’s signature wit –a combination of thoughtful reflections, questions and bold declarations realised in hand drawn text. In addition, Studio Moross have created a collection of colourful strokes applied across the glass panes of the building. The strokes are sprawling and expansive, echoing the ‘beyond’ and ‘between’ of the summer programme, allowing light to pass through them into the space.

Travis Alabanza is a writer, performer and theatre maker from Bristol. They currently have a new show for stage in development with the Southbank Centre, Hackney Showrooms and their mum, as well as an original commission from The Royal Court. Their new book None of the Above is published with Canongate this summer, on August 4th.

Studio Moross is a multifaceted creative studio that directs and designs for a broad portfolio of clients. Their work includes live show direction, broadcast design and festival campaign direction.

This event is part of the Roundhouse Beyond + Between summer season, a curated programme that celebrates and amplifies some of the most important artists and voices driving culture and conversation today.
