Leaves are returning, the sun is shining (mostly), and chocolate egg sales are rising. This can only mean one thing: the Spring Showcase has arrived! This year’s Roundhouse Poetry Collective have spent their spring term getting angry and wanting to shout about it; join them in a dynamic and diverse exploration of poetry as a form of protest, and what it means on both a personal and wide-reaching level.

Every year the Roundhouse helps 3,000 11-25 year-olds realise their creative potential through opportunities in music, media and performing arts. The Roundhouse Poetry Collective is made up of 14 gifted poets from across London, aged 18-25 years old. They get together once a week to develop original material under the guidance of celebrated spoken word artists Bohdan Piasecki and Debris Stephenson, as well as guest tutors Francesca Beard, Inua Ellams and Sabrina Mahfouz. They also perform at festivals and events across the UK. Each collective works together for one year. If you are interested in joining the new intake in September keep an eye on the website as application will open in a few months.
