Poets young and old, from across the world, come together to celebrate the fiftieth anniversary of the First International Poetry Incarnation, which saw over seven thousand people pack the Royal Albert Hall to witness the birth of the 60’s counterculture and of spoken word as we know it today.

The evening will be hosted by Dan Cockrill, with poetry greats including Michael Horovitz, Patience Agbabi, Francesca Beard, Steven Berkoff, Malika Booker, Eleanor Bron, Pete Brown, John Cooper Clarke, Salena Godden, John Hegley, Adam Horovitz, Libby Houston, Cecilia Knapp, Elvis McGonagall, Kei Miller, poets from Jack White’s Third Man Books, songster-musos Vanessa Vie and Gwyneth Herbert, the William Blake Klezmatricians Horovitz, Pete Lemer and Annie Whitehead.
