House Rules

A few rules to ensure that every member can work in a comfortable and productive environment and allow us to create a community that fosters creativity and collaboration.

Keeping it Clean

Always load the dishwasher with any items you’ve used, clear away your food once you’ve finished eating and generally help to keep the space nice and tidy for you and your fellow members.

Recycling

Be mindful of disposing your rubbish in the right bins provided. Together the small things we do can help our space be as environmentally friendly as possible.

Meeting Room Etiquette

Only use a meeting room if you have it booked via the Members Dashboard. Remember to reset the room after use with chairs back in their place and any rubbish cleared, and please leave the meeting room on time.

Shoes on

It seems strange to have to say this but…please keep your shoes on at all times 🙂

Visitor Rules

We welcome your visitors at any time, just make sure you’ve registered them on the Members Dashboard ready for their arrival and remember these important rules:

– Visitors can use the communal areas (breakout sofas or kitchen) and must be accompanied by you at all times.
– Hot desks are for members only and cannot be used by visitors.
– You can have 2 visitors in the space for up to 2 hours. if you have more than 2 visitors and / or need your visitor(s) to stay more than 2 hours, you must book a meeting room or use one of your guest passes to book them a desk.

Allocated Desks

Please make sure you sit at the desk number you have booked for the day.

Membership Card

For security reasons – keep it with you at all times, preferably showing on your lanyard. A £20 replacement fee will be incurred if the card is lost.

Storage

To help keep the space safe we need to ensure bags, coats and any other bulky items are neatly stored away. We have coat hangers for your coats and your bag can sit under your desk – for any other items you might need storing for longer than your day of work you can speak to the Workspace Manager about hiring a locker.

Quiet Room

The quiet space is the dedicated space where a member can be free of any distractions. We kindly ask that all members using the space are quiet and keep conversation to a minimum. No calls should be taken from this space and no music should be played at any time.

Equipment

Please take care of any equipment that you rent or borrow, treat it as you would your own and be mindful of your usage time as other members will want to enjoy these perks too!

Please note we wipe memory cards once they are returned to us so please make a copy of your work prior to returning.

Alcohol

No alcohol is to be consumed in the workspace.
