Membership is a way for individuals to make a donation in support of the Roundhouse’s charitable work. Members support creative opportunities for thousands of young people, help us commission and produce world-class shows and fund the maintenance of our Grade II*-listed building.

As a thank you for supporting our charitable work, we offer members access to benefits such as priority booking, a stage-side Members’ Bar, event invitations and much more. All membership levels and benefits are listed on our membership page.

You can upgrade your membership by calling the membership line on 020 7424 8455. You can make an additional donation covering the difference between your existing membership level and desired membership level to upgrade for the rest of your membership, or make a donation for the full amount for your desired level of membership to start a new membership afresh. Membership upgrades must be paid in full regardless of how much time is left on the membership.

Members’ priority booking is a membership benefit that allows members to purchase tickets for a period of time before the general public can buy tickets. There are a limited number of tickets available during any Members’ Priority Booking window, which can be bought on a first come first serve basis. Any priority booking windows offered to members will be for a minimum of 1 hour.

The Members’ Bar is a hosted, private stage-side bar in the main space with tables, chairs and sofas. The Bar overlooks the stage and has a premium drinks offer which is not available elsewhere in the venue. The Bar also has a free express cloakroom, which is managed by a host during the event.

Access to the Bar available for use exclusively to Champion, Icon, Legend, Producing Circle, Chairman’s Circle and Corporate members. The Bar is open for most music gigs in our Main Space and will open from the advertised door time for the event.

A valid membership card is required to gain access to the Bar with your guests – you will be given Members’ Bar wristbands upon entry which will allow you and your guests to go to and from the Bar throughout the rest of the show.

The Bar will not be open during performing arts shows or fully-seated music gigs due to the aesthetics of the show. On rare occasions, an artist may also choose to drape the bar to enhance the aesthetics of their show.

Should the Bar reach its Health & Safety capacity, entry will be granted on a one-in, one-out basis. In this instance, the free express cloakroom can still be used. This is most likely to happen before the headline act is onstage, which is generally when the Bar is busiest.

In the rare instance where the Members’ Bar is going to be significantly over-capacity, the Development Team may choose to restrict access to higher levels of membership for health and safety reasons. In this instance, the Development Team will communicate with as much notice as is reasonably possible.

Corporate member – any individual with a valid ticket who works for an organisation with a Corporate membership.

Additional guests in the stage-side Members’ Bar will not be permitted unless previous written confirmation is provided by the Development Team.

We’re phasing all existing supporters over to the new membership scheme, which means that your old membership will be changed to the equivalent level in the new membership scheme. Membership levels are being phased over as follows:

Fan members are now Discovery members and will get new additional benefits including Priority Access to Waiting Lists, Invitations to Emerging Artist events and Exclusive Members’ Competitions. Fan members will continue to be able to use the old ‘Queue Jump’ benefit until their Fan membership expires, and can do so by showing an in-date Fan membership card to skip the queue outside the venue after main space doors have opened on a show day.

Headliner members are now Champion members and will get new additional benefits including Advanced Priority Booking and Priority Access to Waiting Lists.

Icon members will remain as Icon members but will get additional benefits including increased Members’ Bar guests (now three guests per Icon member), Advanced Priority Booking, Priority Access to Waiting Lists and Invitations to Emerging Artist showcases.

Legend, Producing Circle and Chairman’s Circle supporters will remain unchanged except for access to the new Advanced Priority Booking benefit.
