The following information is intended for audiences attending gigs and shows at the Roundhouse. Due to the variety of shows taking place, there are often different arrangements for each event, so you should review the Essential Info on the event’s page (under the What’s On section of this website) before your visit. For private events, please see your invite for specific information.

Your Order

When your booking is confirmed, you’ll receive an order confirmation to the email address you used to create your account. Make sure to check your spam/junk folder, as sometimes this kind of email is filtered by your provider.

If you haven’t received an order confirmation, this means your booking hasn’t been successful. We encourage you to try again, or get in touch with our customer service team via the question mark button on the bottom right corner of this page.

Digital Tickets

How to access your ticket

If you’ve bought your ticket directly from the Roundhouse, for most events your digital ticket is available in your ticket wallet as soon as your order is complete. Simply log in to the Roundhouse wallet using the same email and password you used to book your tickets. Please note: the ticket will appear immediately; the QR code (used to scan your ticket on entry) will appear nearer the time of the event, typically 2 hours before the stated door time for the event.

Once you’ve accessed your ticket, you can share your tickets on to friends as needed. We recommend you do this before you get to the venue.

If you’ve booked your ticket via another ticket agent such as Ticketmaster or DICE: you will receive instructions on how to access your digital ticket once it is available to view in your wallet. This information will be sent to the email address you booked with. Agency tickets are typically available in the wallet 24-48 hours before the show, depending on when the Roundhouse receives information from the ticket agent. The instructions will be sent to the email address associated with the order. To ensure you receive the instructions from us, add hiya@roundhouse.org.uk to your email address book.

Ticket sharing

How to pass tickets on to friends/family

You can share tickets on to family and friends by clicking the ‘Share’ button in your Roundhouse ticket wallet. This generates a unique link that you can send to them via email, text or other messaging services. Please note: tickets cannot be shared via Apple Wallet.

If you’re not attending an event and want to ensure your friends will get in, provide them with a Letter of Authorisation. Whoever is using the tickets can present this at the box office on the day of the show, it authorises the box office to give your tickets out to the holder of the letter who must also present ID.

Saving your Ticket to Apple Wallet

You can add individual Roundhouse tickets to your Apple Wallet. This saves the ticket to your Apple device as a pass, meaning it can be accessed without internet connectivity. To do this:

1. Log in to the Roundhouse ticket wallet on your Apple device, using the same email and password you used to book your tickets.

2. Tap on the ticket, and scroll down to the Add to Apple Wallet button.

3. After tapping the Add to Apple Wallet button, the ticket opens up in the Apple Wallet app. Tapping Add in the top-right corner then saves the pass to your Apple device.

When you arrive at the venue, please present the pass for scanning.

To share a ticket with family and friends, you will still need to share using the Roundhouse ticket wallet following the previous instructions.

Please note that Apple Wallet is intended for use with Apple products only, such as iPhone, iPod and Apple Watch.

Box Office

We’re here to help

If you experience any difficulties at all in accessing your ticket, or if you have any questions, speak to our friendly box office team when you arrive. The box office typically opens 2 hours before the stated door time of the event.

Event Timings

Stage Times for your event

Unfortunately stage times are typically not confirmed by the event organisers until the day of the show.  These will be published on the show’s page on our website when available, though they’re always subject to change.

While we can’t guarantee the exact timings of your show, a typical gig at the Roundhouse looks like this:

Doors – 7pm

Support – 8pm

Headliner – 9pm

Curfew – 11pm

Depending on when you arrive at the venue and what show is taking place, you may expect to queue outside of the building whilst we conduct security and ticketing checks.

Our gigs usually finish no later than 11pm. On some occasions this might be extended but we will advertise this in advance on the relevant event page.

Important Information about Your Ticket

After you’ve had your ticket scanned at the entrance, you will need to show it again when entering the standing or seated areas.

Standing and Seated Tickets

Your ticket order will state whether you have a standing or seated ticket for your event. You can find this information in your Order Confirmation email, and on the ticket in the Roundhouse ticket wallet. Each area of the auditorium has a fixed capacity and therefore it is not possible to move from one ticket area to another, for example if you’ve booked a seat you will not be able to go into the standing area.

If you have an access need, there is more information available on our Accessibility page.

Age Limits

Some of our events may have specific age guidance. Any age information will be included in the ‘Essential Info’ panel on the show’s page on this website.

For most music gigs, under-16s are to be accompanied by an adult, and under-14s are to be accompanied by an adult and in seated areas only.

Latecomers

If you’re going to be arriving late to an event at the Roundhouse, then you may not be permitted entry to the event, particularly for any theatre style performances. The Essential Info section on the event’s page (under the What’s On section of this website) will include more information on restrictions for latecomers. Latecomers will typically be admitted throughout for our music gigs, as long as you are not arriving at the venue near the curfew time.
