Recipe: Hot Buttered Rum

It’s Friday, it’s freezing, but never fear, we have a winter warmer to heat up your weekend…

Hot Buttered Rum

You will need:

  • 1 x teaspoon unsalted butter
  • 1 x teaspoon maple syrup
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground allspice
  • Flora de Cana gold rum
  • Dash hot apple juice
  • Cinnamon stick to garnish

Method:

  • Mix together the butter, maple syrup, allspice and rum in a suitably sexy (and heatproof) glass
  • Heat the apple juice with a steamer, pour into the mix and stir until the butter is melted
  • Garnish and stir with a cinnamon stick
  • Relax and enjoy!
