East London native Alora is a part of a new generation of rappers, having witnessed the doors being kicked down by the likes of Wiley, Stormzy and Little Simz, she is ready to lead a new wave by raising the bar and telling the world her story. Drawing on life experiences and blending gritty rap with Afrobeats and more soulful R&B sounds, Alora is creating a sound that could only come from London and that’s distinctly her own.
Growing up in a Nigerian household of seven has played a big part in shaping the artist Alora today. Her talent and infectious energy shone from a young age, taking every opportunity to show off her singing, acting and writing ability before taking music more seriously aged 21.
Her drive and determination has lead her to grace stages from the Edinburgh Fringe festival, Black Magic Award and of recent The Ends Festival.
Alora’s dedication to constantly developing her craft coupled with her free spirited nature and commanding stage presence all point to Alora being one to watch over the next year and beyond.
Alora’s latest single ‘Complicated’ is out now.
