South London songstress, BINA. first came onto the scene in 2019 with her debut EP, Humble Abode.

Fusing elements of Alternative R&B, Neo -Soul and Jazz, BINA. swiftly became one to watch. Inspired by the likes of Solange, Erykah Badu and Hiatus Kaiyote, BINA. is representing a generation of vocalists who are choosing not to be constrained by production. Whether on a mellow Hip-Hop or an experimental Jazz beat, *BINA.*’s voice will always blend effortlessly.

A strong start to 2021, BINA. released her highly anticipated sophomore EP titled This Is Not A Film, which received support from BBC Radio London, 1XTRA, Fred Perry Subculture, Metal Magazine, and Spotify and Apple Playlists. The flood of support following the project has BINA. to play across the UK including opening up for Kaleem Taylor at The Jazz Cafe, Boiler Room, Wild Paths Festival, Norwich, and a set at YES, Manchester.

Growing up in the foster care system, BINA. speaks candidly of how this has impacted different areas of her life. Her lyrics depict the narrative of a young black woman on a journey of self-discovery and reflection. BINA. has never shied away from being vulnerable in her music and has seen this as a way to truthfully connect with her audiences and help them through their process of healing.
