What is the project about?
Calling all emerging filmmakers! We’d like to welcome you to the Roundhouse monthly Film Club. This evening session is a chance to be part of a community of filmmakers. You’ll meet as a group to watch short films, listen to talks from industry professionals and discuss and workshop your film ideas together.

If you’re looking to make films but not sure where to start or who to ask for help, this is your chance to forge a new network of potential collaborators and likeminded creatives!

What will I get from taking part?
By the end of the project you will:

  • Meet like-minded young filmmakers
  • Have the chance to workshop your film ideas and get feedback
  • Meet and network with industry speakers
  • Get practical advice on realising your film ideas
  • Gain advice on getting into the industry
  • Expand your film knowledge through curated shorts

Who will be teaching the project? The project will be led by professional film-maker Henry Blake.

Do I need any particular skills or experience to take part?
No skills needed, just an enthusiasm for all things film!

Is there anything I need to bring or wear?
Something to take notes on otherwise all equipment will be provided.
