The Roundhouse is a place for everyone, and we don’t want money to hold anyone back from getting involved.
So if there’s anything that could stop you from attending projects or events that could be helped by financial support – including help with project costs, transport and childcare – then let us know: we are here to help with bursaries designed to support you in taking the next step in developing your creative skills.
Bursaries can be used for all sorts of things, such as:
- Transport expenses to and from the Roundhouse (within London only)
- Roundhouse creative project fees
- Hiring rehearsal space or studio facilities
- The cost of materials you need to get the most out of a Roundhouse project
- Entry fees for an accredited qualification (e.g. Arts Award)
- Carer/Interpreter costs
- Production fees for projects (e.g. showreels)
All bursary applications are considered on a case-by-case basis, and treated in strictest confidence, so no one will know you’ve applied if you don’t want them to.
Please email your completed application form to the Info & Advice Base or post it to Bursary Scheme, Roundhouse, Chalk Farm Road, London NW1 8EH.
If you need any help completing the form, give us a call on 0207 424 8477 and we’ll be happy to help.
Once we receive your application, we’ll contact you to make an appointment. We may ask you to bring some documents with you to this meeting.
Please Note: If you receive a bursary, no cash will be given directly to you. Because we receive lots of applications for bursaries and the Roundhouse has limited money available, we ask that you only apply for a bursary if you genuinely need it – this helps us to keep the bursary scheme fair for everyone.
