To celebrate the 10th anniversary of Katie Melua’s recording career, SJM Concerts and Dramatico Entertainment announce a night with the singer songwriter at the Roundhouse. Katie will be performing hits and favourites from her five studio albums as well as previewing songs from her new album due for release this autumn.

'10 years in the music industry is a great reason to celebrate and do a one-off gig in London. Music has always been my first love and it has been my refuge in times of trouble. To be able to have music as both a passion and a career is something I never want to take for granted,' says Katie.

'I’m working on a new album now, which will be my sixth studio record, so I hope to be performing some of the new songs at the Roundhouse show. I’ve never played at the Roundhouse before but have seen many great artists there. This will be a very special show to celebrate the new record and my ten years.'

Signed to Dramatico when she was still studying at the Brit School, Katie released her first album 'Call Off The Search' in 2003. The first single, 'The Closest Thing To Crazy', launched the 18 year old to a British audience and the album went to number 1. Her following album 'Piece By Piece' and its lead track 'Nine Million Bicycles' introduced Katie to a global audience and she became the best selling British female artist throughout the world.

Katie's subsequent albums, 'Pictures', 'The House' and 2012's 'Secret Symphony' have seen Katie cement her place as a much-loved singer with a unique voice and a catalogue of intriguing, signature songs. Having toured almost constantly, either on her own or with her band, Katie is a captivating and entertaining performer, with a mesmerising voice.
