Roundhouse Rising Festival

Supported by YouTube

We’re giving you the chance to discover your next favourite music artist. Proudly supported by YouTube, Roundhouse Rising Festival is back for its ninth year and is bigger than ever.

Fresh from supporting Gorillaz on their European tour, Roundhouse alumni and hip-hop heavyweight Little Simz returns to headline the festival. The British rapper will curate a festival day of live performances from her favourite new artists, with DJs, an art exhibition, pop up performances, talks, food and visuals. Special guests for Little Simz performance last year included Ghetts, Stormzy, Kano and Chipmonk.

Catch intimate live performances from the next big acts, including folk artist Blair Dunlop (winner of the BBC Radio 2 Horizon Award) and indie-folk artist Ailbhe Reddy (‘A songwriter with enormous promise’ – Clash).

Also returning this year, BBC Music Introducing 1XTRA provides a night of free music, our DJ Soundclash crowns the Rising Soundclash Champion 2018 and we launch the Rising Sounds 2018 Album.

The festival will also give you the chance to get ahead in the music industry with a host of panels, workshops, demos and talks from the big names in the business, hosted at the YouTube space in Kings Cross.

This is the place to discover the next FKA Twigs, Big Moon and Wolf Alice in an intimate setting, whilst learning from the best in the biz.
