Join us for an interactive workshop led by poet Bridget Minamore that will give you the tips and tools you need on self-editing, finding the right tone of your work, writing for your target audience and stripping away the baggage from your poems.
Share thoughts and gain feedback from your peers, as well as having time to write alongside a 5 minute one-on-one session with Bridget herself.
Bridget has worked with the National Theatre and the Royal Opera House and written for publications including The Guardian, Pitchfork, The Pool and The Debrief. She has read her poems at places including the Roundhouse, Latitude Festival, Bristol Old Vic and the Southbank Centre and spoken on panels including #IRLpanel at Twitter UK and the London Festival of Education. She has also been a repeat guest on BBC Radio 4’s Women’s Hour and BBC Radio 5 live’s Good Week Bad Week.
Please bring along 2 poems that you are happy to share.
