Funk Da Cirque return to the Roundhouse with Soul Trip, a show that combines street dance styles – including boogaloo, house, waakin’ and b-boying – with theatre, acrobatics, human pyramids and body percussion.
This exciting young company includes some of the best young street dancers and acrobats from across London, all aged 11-25. They’ve performed to sold-out houses at CircusFest 2012 and 2014, as well as appearing at the National Theatre’s Watch This Space and Camp Bestival.
Funk da Cirque was founded in 2011 to offer a progression opportunity for young people taking part in Street Circus at the Roundhouse. Mentored by professional choreographers and circus artists, the group devises and performs its own shows, and tours regularly to festivals and events in the UK and abroad.
