Our Alternative Christmas Panto Project brings together 12-16 year-old performers for ten weeks to devise and develop a quirky festive production. Now’s your chance to join the participants for their showcase performance:
Alice in a Wonderland tells the story of Alice a girl stuck between two worlds, Wonderland and the real world. Alice is in trouble at school with her teachers and at home with her parents. Alice keeps finding herself in all kinds of crazy situations in Wonderland, including dealings with the Cheshire Cat, Tweedle Dum and Tweedle Dee as well as the Mad Hatter, two rather hyper-active white rabbits, three mice, and let’s not talk about the Red Queen who wants to chop off Alice’s head. Follow Alice as she tries to wiggle her way out of mess after mess.
Devised, directed and written by Kat Francois, original poetry and songs written by the cast and tutor Talia Randall.
Latecomers will be admitted at a suitable break in the performance.
Suitable for all ages.
