Financial Support

Financial Support

The Roundhouse is a place for everyone, and we wouldn't want money to be a barrier to young people taking part and enjoying creative activities.

So if there's anything that might stop you from attending projects/events that could be helped by financial support, including
project costs, transport and childcare, we are here to help.

Roundhouse Bursary

The Roundhouse is committed to ensuring all young people have access to the arts. Our bursary scheme is designed to support young people who may otherwise not be able to access Roundhouse resources because of financial difficulties.

The Bursary can be used for a range of purposes such as;

•    Transport expenses to and from the Roundhouse (within London only)
•    Roundhouse project fees
•    Emerging Artist Membership Fees
•    Hiring rehearsal Space/ studio facilities
•    Materials related to a Roundhouse project
•    Accreditation costs
•    Childcare
•    Carer/Interpretator
•    Production fees for projects (e.g showreels)

This is just a list of examples, and other costs may be considered. Bursary applications will be assessed on a case-by-case basis, and treated with the strictest confidence.

Please email  your completed application form to barbara.obrien@roundhouse.org.uk or post to:

Bursary Scheme, Roundhouse, Chalk Farm Road, London NW1 8EH.

If you need any help completing the form please call 0207 424 8477.

Once we receive your application, you will be contacted to make an appointment, and we may ask you bring some documents as proof of need.

Please Note: If you receive a bursary, no cash will be given directly to you.

Because there is a high demand for bursaries and the Roundhouse has limited funds available, we request that you do not request a bursary unless there is a genuine need and inability to secure funds by other means. This will help us keep the process fair.
