Training

There are other volunteer opportunities aside the RYAB and Peer Motivators which may fit better with your skills and availability. See below for more opportunities to get involved.

EMI Sound Volunteer Training Programme supported by v

Are you aged between 16 and 25 and not in education, employment or training?

Would you like FREE training in sound engineering and music production in our state of the art recording studio?

Would you like to volunteer at the Roundhouse and get valuable work experience for the future?

Then we have just the project for you starting this October!

What’s it all about?

The EMI Sound Volunteering Training Programme supported by v will give you:

  • Six days of intensive training in sound engineering and music production skills.  -
  • At least 35 hours work as a volunteer at Roundhouse Studios between October and December 2008, providing technical support on Roundhouse music projects and other creative activities and events for young people.
  • The chance to get back in the studio to practise the sound engineering skills you have learnt.  -
  • Great work experience to put on your CV.

When will the programme take place?

Training will take place over six days in the Roundhouse’s EMI Music Studio 10:30am to 3:30pm between Tuesday 14th and Thursday 23rd October.

Three top-up training sessions with your tutor will be held in the studio over November and December.
