Volunteer Opportunities

There are a number of volunteer opportunities with the Roundhouse Studios. Our volunteer schemes for young people offer various levels of training and responsibility to members. These include the Roundhouse Youth Advisory Board and Peer Motivators who have been active since 2002 and 2003 respectively.

Why volunteer? What's in it for you?

You will be using your skills and developing them even further to boost your CV. But that's not all, volunteering at the Roundhouse Studios will offer:

• Opportunities to extend your contacts within your peer group and creative industries
• Experience of working in a lively and welcoming professional arts environment
• Involvement at the heart of a high profile organisation
• Travel expenses and subsistence as appropriate
• Some volunteer schemes will offer an in-house Certificate of Achievement detailing the nature of the work and all the learning outcomes. Wherever possible the Roundhouse will also seek external accreditation via established regional and national award schemes, e.g. Millennium Volunteers, Duke of Edinburgh
• Training and experience which will increase individual's employability
• Some volunteer initiatives, such as peer research teams will attract contracts from external organisations and companies.
