Arts Partners
Who are our partners?
Professionals working with young people and those who can offer expertise and knowledge from other sectors:
- youth and community agencies,
- arts organisations and companies
- schools, pupil support units, further and higher education institutions, special needs schools
- social and health care organisations
- businesses, creative industries
- national and international youth arts groups.
We want to make our activities and facilities accessible to young people who have limited opportunities to be involved in creative activities. Developing relationships with partners across the arts, education, community and business sectors helps us work more effectively. Many young people have been introduced to the Roundhouse through experiencing a project with their school or youth organisation. It's then easier to make further visits independently or with friends when a young person knows how to travel to the Roundhouse and has met some of the staff.
What can we offer partners?
- Custom-designed projects, course, training and events for groups of young people
- Opportunities to become involved with the artistic programme in the Main Space
- A platform for emerging young artists to display, screen and perform their work
- Continuing Professional Development for youth arts practitioners, teachers and youth workers
- Facilities and studios for hire at low cost
- Progression routes for young people between partner organisations
How can partners work with us?
The Roundhouse Studios can work creatively with partners in the following ways:
- collaboratively, sharing branding, project management and delivery
- engaging partners to manage and deliver events, projects and courses as part of our programme
- providing facilities for partners to deliver their own extension projects as part of our programme
The partnerships depend on sharing clear aims and objectives for joint work and plus an overall ethos in terms of values, artistic and educational quality. Financial arrangements vary according to the nature of the project and the funding available.
