What facilities are there?

The Roundhouse Studios are open 7 days a week (see opening times) to members (see membership details). Facilities can be hired at nominal rates by young people or commercial rates by businesses. If you are a business, please see here about hiring.

Studios and facilities

InteriorThe brand new facility features state of the art technical equipment for a range of digital media, plus sound-proof space for rehearsals and /or recordings.
  • At the centre of the Roundhouse Studios is the Hub, a great circular space for socialising which can double as a small scale performance area
  • Clore multi-use studio for group rehearsals — drama, music, singing, dance
  • Bloomberg TV Studio
  • EMI Live Music Studio
  • Foundation for Sports & the Arts Radio Studio
  • 6 Film/Music Midi Suites
  • 5 Music Practice Rooms
  • 2 Digital Arts Suites, 20 PCs each

Info and Advice Base

Alongside the studios where projects, courses and events are presented at the Roundhouse Studios you will find the Info & Advice Base.

This welcoming room is the place for discussing any problems you may have, in confidence, with Roundhouse staff or more specialist advisors and counsellors. It is also the place to seek information during regular drop-in sessions on a range of study, training and creative industry matters if we cannot help you, we will put you in touch with someone who can.
