In collaboration with the Rich Mix creative team, Roundhouse Rising curates a wildly eclectic night of new music featuring Krar Collective in collaboration with REC (Roundhouse Experimental Choir), Tres B (performing tracks from his latest EP, Lonely Man), Tempting Rosie, Dizzietron and Rubix.
Krar is the Ethiopian 5 or 6 stringed harp. Krar Collective are led by Temesegen Tareken, a former pupil of veteran Ethiopian vibraphone player Mulatu Astatke, on Krar, with drums, and singer Genet Asefa and drummer Amare.
The Roundhouse Experimental Choir aim to create something out of nothing; experiment and improvise. They collaborate with a diverse range of artists and produce vocal work that challenges both performers and audience.
After participating in an array of Roundhouse music programmes for 11-25s, Tres B was signed to Roundhouse Records in June 2010 and has since supported The Black Keys and been nominated for Best Male UK based Afro/Caribbean Act of 2010 at the BEFFTA Awards. Tres will be performing tracks from his newest EP, Lonely Man.

Tempting Rosie are a a nine strong trumpet waving, ass-kicking, vivacious ska band from Birmingham, mixing influences from the realms of ska, DUB and reggae.
Rubix are a collective of emerging spoken word artists hailing from the Roundhouse. Each with a distinctive voice yet committed to collaboration, they fuse their diverse backgrounds and eclectic styles to create new experiences for audiences.
London based DJ/Producer Dizzietron plays an original mix of urban bass music with the support of the likes of Rusko, Toddla T, DJ Zinc and Roll Deep amongst many others, she is widely known in the industry.
