I have been passionate about Urban music from the age 8. Grew up in Jamaica since the age of 5 and lived there until I was 18, I was exposed to great deal of US Hip Hop and R&B and Jamaican Reggae and Dancehall music. Having been a DJ for 7 years now, under the alias DJ Skrypt, I started to develop a reputation whilst attending the University of Nottingham (studying Civil Engieering), and have played in clubs in both Nottingham and London, including the University of Nottingham Summer Party for 3 consecutive years. Have since gone on to add Garage, House and Dubstep and old soul in my sets, I know how to keep a party rocking. Having had work experience at BBC 1Xtra, and realising that life as a Civil Engineer wasn't for me, I have been actively pursuing a career in radio ever since.
