Elise Cobain

Elise Cobain (Programming Assistant / Drivetime Producer on Xfm) started her radio career aged 11.

Since then she has worked on Radio XL, Red FM, Livewire, Camden Community Radio, and until recently was the assistant station manager/alternative music specialist of the Roundhouse Radio line-up. She assists on the BBC Kent Introducing every Sunday and helps out with the Radio 1 specialist team on a casual basis. Chatting to artists about the music they make and playing out the songs they create is what she does best and she can be found on Roundhouse Radio, every Thursday from 9pm doing just that.

Elise is also a member of the Roundhouse Youth Advisory Board, RYAB, for which she is the Communications Officer.

She says:

"Some Emerging Artists Members told me about RYAB, and I was keen to get involved. My role is all about ensuring that people taking part at the Roundhouse are aware of what RYAB does, and how they can voice their opinions."

"My favourite Roundhouse experience has definitely been working on the Camden Crawl 2010 podcast project. it was really exciting to work with artists and a professional radio producer and kick started my competance and interest in covering festivals."
