Dayalan Kulendran

Dayalan Kulendran (aka DeeKay) is a journalist, radio producer, DJ and presenter. He edits the Roundhouse's trailblazing Redtop Magazine, as well as co-producing and co-hosting Roundhouse Radio's flagship 'Urban' music show Fresh Cuts.

He has interviewed the likes of Idris Elba, Tinie Tempah, Kano, Jay Sean, Basement Jaxx, Chipmunk, Bashy, Akala, Ghetts, Bluey Robinson and McLean and is a passionate supporter of homegrown 'Urban' talent. He's not name-dropping, but he might be showing off just a little.

Dayalan is also a member RYAB, the Roundhouse Youth Advisory Board. He says:

"I became involved with RYAB after working at the Roundhouse, having started off attending courses here. I worked as the station manager of Roundhouse Radio and editor of Redtop, the Roundhouse's multimedia magazine."
 
"My favourite Roundhouse experience has been putting on a sold-out Roundhouse Radio concert in the Roundhouse's Studio Theatre back in March 2010."
