Theatre Company

The Roundhouse Theatre Company launched in 2008. Each year a new intake of actors, aged 16-25, create a show with professional writers/directors and perform it at both the Roundhouse and Edinburgh Fringe Festival. Their productions are supported by 11-25s on Roundhouse technical theatre courses – in lighting, sound and stage management.

The current company have been developing @virtually_real since autumn 2009. Their three night run at the Roundhouse, 24-26 June, will be followed by a three week run at the Assembly Rooms in Edinburgh.

Last year’s company have formed The OutHouse Collective. Their production of Neon Fairies was performed at the Contact Theatre, Manchester as part of 'Contacting the World', and at the Camden Fringe Festival at the Roundhouse, 5-9 August.
