We know that cultural and learning opportunities have particular significance when young people themselves are able to decide what to experience, when they are involved in the planning, the learning and training, and take part in different ways, as participants, mentors and leaders. What happens here in the Roundhouse Studios is extraordinary…

Jane Hamlyn, Chair of the Paul Hamlyn Foundation

We have valuable partnerships with trusts and public funders who back our ambition to be an inspirational hub for creative innovation, produce contemporary work of international stature and develop the next generation of artists.

Here are just a few of our partners:

Arts Council England is our main artistic partner helping us to produce and commission contemporary work of international stature and develop artists.

The Paul Hamlyn Foundation has been a huge supporter of the Roundhouse and its 11-25 programme since before its reopening in 2006. In 2012 the Foundation marked its 25th anniversary with an endowment to the Roundhouse 11-25 programme, giving its name to what are now the Paul Hamlyn Roundhouse Studios. We are hugely grateful to the Foundation for helping to secure the future of our work with young people.

Esmée Fairbairn Foundation provides vital core support for our creative programme for 11-25s, ensuring young people can realise their creative potential and offering them progression routes into the creative industries and the professional arts sector.

Youth Music supports our in house music festival for new and emerging artists Roundhouse Rising which seeks to showcase the next generation of talented musicians.

The Sackler Trust supports our performance venue the Sackler Space which is the Roundhouse’s hub for developing young emerging artists and their work, programming original and exciting content, expanding our festivals and engaging a wider audience.
