Singer, songwriter and musician Amahla taps into an era before her time to create vintage-inspired soul music.

Amahla is most inspired by the musicianship and social commentary of the classic soul/jazz catalogue a la Billie Holiday, Sam Cooke and Etta James.

She has performed at the Roundhouse numerous times and made her Jazz Cafe debut in 2018.

Having nurtured her voice under the mentorship of the Roundhouse, and her songwriting as a finalist for Carla Marie Williams’ (Songwriter: Beyonce) GirlsIRate songwriting competition, Amahla is out to create modern classic records.

With a unique voice in music and activism, if she isn’t already, Amahla will be on your radar soon.
